4-Paragraph Structure Formula
1. Introduction
- Sentence 1: Paraphrase prompt (introduce the situation).
- Sentence 2: Direct Answer (state your direct answer to the question clearly).
2. Body Paragraph 1 (First Supporting Reason)
- Topic Sentence: Present the primary rationale.
- Explanation: Provide details and logical development.
- Example: Support with a relevant example.
3. Body Paragraph 2 (Second Supporting Reason)
- Topic Sentence: Present the secondary rationale.
- Explanation: Provide supporting arguments.
- Example: Support with a relevant example.
4. Conclusion
- Sentence 1: Summary (restate your answer in different words).
- Sentence 2: Final Outlook (provide a concluding recommendation).
Examiner Key Advice
Provide an immediate preview of your answer in the introduction to signal clear Task Response to the examiner.
Avoid generic formulas; answer the specific question asked.
