About IELTS Evaluator

Practice should leave you with a clearer next step.

IELTS Evaluator is an independent AI-assisted practice platform. It helps students inspect a draft, understand likely weaknesses, and revise with more purpose.

Why it exists

More useful feedback between lessons.

Many IELTS students can find prompts and model answers, but they struggle to understand what is holding back their own writing. Human teaching is valuable, yet frequent individual review can be difficult to schedule or afford. An automated practice tool can help fill the space between lessons by making revision faster and more structured.

The platform is built around a simple cycle: submit the exact task and your response, inspect feedback against Task Response or Task Achievement, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy, then revise the same draft. For Academic Task 1, students can add the source chart or diagram so the response can be compared with the visual.

We deliberately describe scores as estimates. Official IELTS results are awarded only through authorised testing under exam conditions. Topic familiarity, timing, handwriting, test-day pressure, and human judgment can all affect performance, so no website should promise a particular official band.

Product principles

What guides the work.

Evidence before labels

A band estimate is more useful when students can see the sentence, task requirement, or language pattern behind it. Feedback is organised around the four public writing criteria and points back to the draft.

Revision before repetition

Writing another essay is not always the best next step. The product encourages a second version of the same response so students can apply feedback while the reasoning is still fresh.

Limits shown clearly

Automated feedback is an estimate, not an official IELTS result or a substitute for a qualified teacher. When an Academic Task 1 visual is missing, the overall task estimate is withheld.

Privacy-conscious practice

Drafts auto-save locally before submission. Academic Task 1 source images are prepared in the browser, used for that evaluation, and are not added to essay history.

How educational content is approached

Guides translate public task requirements and band descriptors into worked examples, decision rules, checklists, and short drills. Model passages are teaching examples—not promises that memorising them will produce a particular band.

Sources: Test-format and scoring claims should align with public information from the official IELTS organisations.

Updates: Articles show publication and meaningful revision dates where available.

Corrections: If you find a factual or accessibility issue, use the contact page so it can be reviewed.
