Privacy Policy

This policy explains what IELTS Evaluator processes when you use the writing practice service and how that information is used.

1. Information we process

• Account details: Supabase Auth stores your email address and authentication records when you create an account.
• Writing submissions: Your task prompt, response, and generated feedback are stored in private account history only when you are signed in.
• Academic Task 1 images: Source images are resized in your browser and sent for the requested evaluation. They are not added to saved essay history. Do not upload identification, faces, or unrelated personal documents.
• Local drafts: The workspace can store draft text in your browser so it can be restored on that device. Clearing the draft or browser storage removes that local copy.
• Usage records: We record limited technical data needed to enforce allowances, prevent duplicate requests, diagnose failures, and understand whether features work. Essay and image contents are excluded from analytics events.
• Billing records: Paddle processes Pro subscriptions. We retain the identifiers, status, and period dates needed to grant access, handle cancellation, refunds, support, and legal obligations. We do not store full card or bank details.

2. How information is used

We use this information to provide requested feedback, save authenticated history, protect accounts, enforce usage limits, operate support, improve reliability, and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell essay content or personal data.

3. AI processing and service providers

Your prompt, response, and any source image are transmitted to the AI provider to produce the evaluation you request. We also use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Paddle for subscription administration and payment processing, and hosting or analytics providers for delivery and reliability. Each provider processes only the information needed for its role under its own terms.

4. Retention and control

Signed-in users can review saved work in History and request account deletion from Settings. Deletion may not immediately remove records that must be retained for security, billing, dispute, or legal purposes. Local drafts remain on the device until you clear them or the browser storage.

5. Security and private work

Saved records are associated with the authenticated account and are not intended to be available to other students. Access controls and server-side authorization protect private routes and operations. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid including sensitive personal information in practice material.

6. Advertising and cookies

Educational pages may use analytics or advertising technologies where enabled. Consent choices are requested where required. Ads are kept away from the editor, private history, account screens, loading states, and core action controls.
