Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using IELTS Evaluator (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

IELTS Evaluator provides AI-powered essay evaluation, band score estimation, and educational templates. We do not guarantee official IELTS scores, and our service should be used as a preparation aid, not a definitive certification.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Plans, allowances, and billing

Guests may complete one evaluation and registered free users may complete three evaluations in a rolling 24-hour window. Each submitted evaluation, including a revised draft, uses one allowance. The workspace displays the current remaining allowance; the next use returns 24 hours after the oldest counted evaluation. Times are stored in UTC and displayed in the visitor's local timezone. Active Pro subscribers receive the higher-volume access shown at checkout while their subscription is active. We may adjust safeguards when necessary to preserve service integrity.

Pro subscriptions are processed by Paddle. The final price, renewal interval, taxes where applicable, and cancellation terms are shown before payment. You can manage or cancel an active subscription from account settings; access normally continues through the paid period unless Paddle or applicable law requires otherwise. Existing subscriptions and billing records are retained so we can honour the remaining billing period, provide cancellation access, resolve charges, and meet applicable obligations.

5. Educational Use & Accuracy

The band scores and feedback provided by our AI are estimates based on public IELTS Band Descriptors. They can be incomplete or wrong and have not been established as equivalent to an official examiner result. We are not affiliated with the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment English. Use the output as practice guidance and seek a qualified teacher when a high-stakes decision depends on the assessment.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit malicious code, spam, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or manipulate the AI scoring algorithms
• Automate submissions via bots or scraping without explicit permission

7. Intellectual Property

The templates, academy lessons, design, and structure of the Service are the intellectual property of IELTS Evaluator. You may not sell or redistribute our templates or academy content without attribution.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
